The {Y} family is expecting another baby and wanted a family/maternity photography session. We did their session at Walnut Creek Park in San Dimas, where the trees and trails made for a very natural background. The sun coming through the trees made for amazing highlights in their hair and with her pregnant belly. So read on for San Dimas maternity photography and family photos too!
Family Photos in San Dimas
Starting with their son
We started the session with their cute toddler son, soon to be an older brother.
Just look at this picturesque hiking trail in San Dimas. Family photos on this trail practically take themselves.
After that we got some family photos of just the mom and dad together, relishing in their pregnancy.
Maternity Photos with the Mom
We then snapped some frames of just the mom by her pregnant self. Maternity photography is something that brings out the glow in a mother’s changed body, and we can certainly see her glow in the forest of trees and greenery.
They laid down a picnic blanket for some family photos of them all sitting down.
San Dimas Maternity Photography
After the family photos, we switched to just maternity photos, with our mother in a long white shawl and a white bathing suit. This is a great example of San Dimas maternity photography and how we use our knowledge of local locations to create these images.
We absolutely love the way this ray of sunshine highlights her pregnant belly with a glow that can only be described as ethereal.
This is a combination family photography and maternity photography session at Walnut Creek Park.
