The {Y} family is getting their yearly Christmas family photos in Irvine, at a park bordering Woodbury and Northwood (neighborhoods in Irvine). They have one child (only child) and we captured this family of three in a natural, green park setting (with lots of fall leaves). But read on to see our day of Woodbury family photos in Irvine.
Starting at a Creek Bed in Irvine
We started in a dry creek bed with rocks, leaves, and trees in the background, doing individual family portraits of their daughter.
Then we got the whole family together for family photos.
Our mother is a survivor and proud amputee, so it’s awesome seeing her over the years wear that with confidence.
Woodbury Family Photos in a Field
We walked over to a small field covered in small purple wildflowers and long grass.
Then we took the time to get our parents for couple photos together. We had shot their wedding a long time ago, so it’s really cool revisiting that connection.
Northwood and Woodbury Family Photos in Irvine
We did this family photography portrait session at Jeffrey Open Space Trail in Irvine, bordering the Woodbury and Northwood neighborhoods. They have one daughter (only child) and are a loving family of three. The park is Jeffrey Open Space Trail in Irvine, a beautiful local park with grass fields, trees, and a dry creek bed. We like this location for people that want very natural and green elements to their family photography.
Take a look around our website to see many more articles on how we cover many different families or different sizes, configurations, and ethnicities. For example here are family photos with trees as an element in the session, whether in the foreground, background, or as a prop (like a log for sitting on).
