This is the {S} family, who had their family photography in Claremont at the California Botanic Garden. This is a special, little known gem in our local area and is a great place in Claremont for family photos.
Family Photography in Claremont
We started the session with the two lovely daughters on a trail in Claremont, with a scenic wooden fence in the background.
We often do individual family portraits of each kid, especially since it’s cool to see these portraits change over the years.
And after that we got the whole family together. Every family is different, so we throw them together and see how it goes, building from there. You can see that this family has fun with each other!
And it’s always nice to get family portraits of just the parents together.

We then walked around the grounds at the California Botanic Garden for more family photos, starting with the sisters holding hands and being … well … sisters!
Claremont Family Photos
This is a Claremont family photography portrait session done at the amazing California Botanic Gardens. It was formally the Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Gardens (which is a mouthful), and originally was in Santa Ana/Yorba Linda before it moved over to Claremont to protect the trees and other specimens. It has the largest collection of native Californian vegetation and plants. This session had a family of four with two daughters (we totally relate to that, but our two daughters are only babies).
