Noguchi Garden is a hidden gem of Orange County. It’s a Japanese garden in the middle of a bunch of corporate buildings, and it’s an amazing background from family photography in Costa Mesa. So look below for our take on Noguchi Garden family photography.
At Noguchi Garden, there is this artistic and modern pyramid up against a large white wall. The art installation is called California Scenario and is a collection of art installations that represent the Segerstrom family and Southern California.
And in front of the pyramid there is a man-made stream with small rocks as part of the art installation.
And it’s always fun to get the two brothers together.
And of course the kids see the large pyramid as a giant slide!
And we love it when we get those silly moments that are unique to their family, like this funny family photo.
There is a cool vertical water fountain that is amazing for photo composition.
There is a large desert mound with gravel and desert plants that also makes for a great backdrop.

This is one of those places where it’s a family photographer’s playground. There are so many backgrounds, angles, and lighting scenarios that make it so wonderful to photograph a location like this. It’s easily one of our favorite places for family photography in Orange County.
