The {B} family consists of the grandmother and grandfather, with three children and their families, consisting of a girl and boy grandchild on each side (4 total). It’s great seeing three generations come together for Christmas family photos. We chose to do their family photography at the California Botanic Garden in Claremont, which was conveniently central to all families.
Starting with a Family Photo with Three Generations
We did a large family photo with the 3 generations all together, grandparents and children and grandchildren.
We got the two grandparents together for some family portraits. It’s pretty cute watching them, knowing that hopefully one day we all get that same moment of reflection on a life together.

Family Photography at the California Botanic Garden
This is a great example of family photography with three generations, grandparents, children, and grandchildren. Doing family photos of a large family can be difficult, but Judy handles it very well (since we do it for every single wedding we’ve shot). The California Botanic Garden was a perfect location for the family session, and is also a local gem that most people haven’t been to. It’s a great place to just stroll around. I’d recommend checking it out just because.
