The {T} decided to have their family photography in a more green and natural backdrop this year (the last time we covered them was in Culver City). We chose to do Walnut Creek Park family photos here in our hometown of San Dimas, on the eastern edge of Los Angele County. Family photos at the Walnut Creek Park and Trail is great for that natural look, with lots of trails, trees, wooden fences, and leaves.
Walnut Creek Park Family Photos
We started at a scenic wooden fence, with a dense tree canopy as a beautiful background for the photos. The sun was peaking through the trees, giving us a hint of a hairlight at times.
And we have to love kids being kids.
A Trail in San Dimas
We then moved on to another part of the San Dimas park that had dirt trails with fallen leaves.
Family Photos with Leaves
We took advantage of some of the fall leaves and tossed the leaves in the air for fun family photos.
Using a fallen tree for a log to sit on
We finished the Walnut Creek Park family photography portrait session with a fallen tree that made for a great log to sit on, framing the loving family nicely.
Walnut Creek Park in San Dimas
These family photos were taken in San Dimas at the Walnut Creek Park and Trail, in the County of Los Angeles. Family photography in San Dimas is our specialty, since we have lived here for the better part of a decade now. Choosing a good location is important in doing family photography, along with knowing how the bring the best out of the location. It’s also important having an experienced family photographer that knows how to work with you and your loved ones to get the best portraits out of them. Judy is definitely that expert.
