San Dimas is known as one of the few remaining horse-friendly communities in Los Angeles County left. It has multiple equestrian centers and many trails for horseback riding. Equine photography is when you take a portrait with the horse that you are training, and have subsequently bonded so much with (some own horses, many rent/borrow). So here’s our take on horse photography in San Dimas at the Sycamore Equestrian Center.

Sycamore Canyon Equestrian Center is located right next to Horsethief Canyon Park, which has a ton of hiking trails perfect for horseback riding. Gotta love the glow of the sunset in the background.

Here in San Dimas, we have a lot of hiking and riding trails with rustic wooden fences and dirt trails with scenic vegetation.

Equine photography shows the bond between the trainer and the horse, which is forged in time and bonded with numerous rides.

And we love the classic look of black and white photography for some of the images.
