Here are the family photos of the {B} family, who we have had the pleasure of seeing almost every year. This year we had the pleasure of doing Travel Town family photography, which if you haven’t had the pleasure yet is a railroad museum on the north side of Griffith Park. It’s a great place to take little kids (and big kids in their 30’s or 40’s) to learn about and see trains.
Starting with Portraits of their Daughter with Trains
We started the session with individual portraits of their adorable daughter in front of some trains.

And then proceeded to get their whole family, including their new addition (a baby boy).
And how cute is this daddy-daughter family photo?
And the dad with his newborn son.
Walking around the train yard
It’s nice taking family photos on train tracks without having to worry about getting run over by a train.
Taking Family Photos inside a Train
We then hopped into one of the passenger cars that they have open and took some fun family photos inside of a train!
Look inside of this empty train, which is most likely a passenger train (guessing from all the windows). This one is completely empty, with only old wood flooring and a happy, growing family inside.
Travel Town Family Photography
This is a great example of a family photography portrait session at such a unique location as Travel Town in Griffith Park. Travel Town is a railroad and train museum in Los Angeles County, on the north side of Griffith Park along the 134 freeway. Family photos at such a place allows a distinct background that taps into the wonder and splendor that trains and railroads have on so many people. It’s a wonderful place for kids and families to spend a day, and taking family photos there also captures some of that feeling.
Make sure that you check out the rest of our blog for more examples of our work. We even have pages that show unusual queries, such as showing family photography with two children (like the one above). We like to show our moms and dads how we handle the different family dynamics, such as with babies, only children, two children, or three children. It’s interesting how we get different photos with each combination, along with different photos with each family (based on their personality). Come take a look to see how Judy will cover your family and it’s unique personality!
